This department contributes to the education and research on socio-economic studies focusing on fisheries distribution and management, information processing, and related fields.

  We seek to provide high quality, interdisciplinary education with the following student learning:

1. To demonstrate knowledge of socio-economic backgrounds covering production, distribution, and consumption.

2. To demonstrate knowledge of the fisheries industry in Japan and internationally.

3. To comprehend the industry in general by using the collected data and information.

4. To contribute to the distribution, management, and administration of the fisheries industry.
